Before It All Went Downhill…
More photo evidence, etc. to come later, but this photo was taken on a good ol’ fashion EDGE iPhone…All the fans around the crappy cinder block ramps at Shea Stadium waiting for the Legends to arrive. Dwight “Dr. K” Gooden got the loudest ovation by far during the soggy-pseudo-red carpet entrance. At the actual event, amidst the doom and gloom of another season lost, Mike Piazza got the most rousing applause. More photos to be added tomorrow.
